Judi D - Tech of MonthJudi Dugan, Senior TrakNOW Implementation Specialist

Judi has been providing excellent customer support for PCS TrakNOW customers for over 8 years!  As a Senior Implementation Specialist, Judi has brought many districts online with fully integrated Nutrition, Production, Inventory, and Ordering.  She specializes in setting up and supporting large districts with central and base kitchens and warehouses. Judi supported PCS POS and in-house web-based inventory technology at Minneapolis Public Schools central warehouse and central kitchen, before bringing her 25 years of hands on experience to PCS.

“Judi Dugan is the greatest support person anyone in a school district could have. She goes above and beyond to help me when we are having issues within TrakNOW. I also consider her a dear friend and confidant.”  Kristen Garland – Worth County Schools, GA

“Judi Dugan has been a superb resource and tremendous help anytime she has been called on by Minneapolis. I would have never been able to complete the task of entering the inventory items as quickly as I did without Judi’s  help. She always gives you a thought out, well rounded solution to the problem at hand. Never does she make you feel as if your problems are too small or not as important as other peoples issues.” –  Joe Hollenback – Minneapolis Public Schools, MN

Denise Lessard had a fabulous time” Singing in Unison, While Embracing Change and Harmony” with old friends and new friends at the FSNA 2014 Industry Seminar, Commodity, & Equipment Expo at Innisbrook Resort in beautiful Palm Harbor, Florida. Fun was had by all on Wednesday at the Casino Night – Florida School Foodservice Foundation Fundraiser. There was lots of whooping and hollering going on at the craps table. All in all, everyone was a winner, especially us for being fortunate enough to be able to spend quality time with customers, meeting new friends and helping out the Florida School Foodservice Foundation at the same time. On Thursday, the exhibit hall was decked out in Fall colors and full of activity. Hope to see everyone again at our user group in the Spring!

The 63rd Annual NYSNA Conference was great! And it was terrific meeting our customers in person from Albany, Saratoga Springs, North Colony and Hudson City Schools, plus visiting with new districts interested in our programs. Bhaumik Thaker, Regional Sales Director and Donna Fuhrman, TrakNOW Project Manger, attended. SNA conferences are also a great way to meet with our PCS Solutions Partners, like Bob Gottlieb from Star Food Healthy Express to discuss present and future collaborations in reimbursable and ala carte vending. The Halloween costume party was fun too.

Becki Rogers and Ava Wojcik had a great time “Going the Distance for Child Nutrition” at the 61st  School Nutrition Association of South Carolina Annual Conference in beautiful Myrtle Beach last month. They were able to spend some time with some of our fabulous customers as well as meet many new friends. We also enjoyed sponsoring and playing in the golf tournament this year that was put together by one of our favorite customers, Todd Bedenbaugh, director of Lexington/Richland 5 School District.

The TrakNOW team is excited to share that many of our users are thrilled with the new “unlimited allergens” feature that was included in our latest version release. They are already taking full advantage of the new feature by adding the less common food allergens, such as corn and melons, to the existing list of the top eight allergens.

TrakNOW AllergensUsers are most excited to have the flexibility with this feature to add other food intolerance’s, such as lactose and gluten, and food additives like artificial coloring’s, such as red (carmine), and flavorings, such as MSG and Nitrates. These food allergen/intolerance flags, and abbreviations, are carried throughout the system from items to recipes to menus to production records and many other reports.
